I grew up in a family of readers. To be honest, we were ahead of our time...instead of everyone around the dinner table having their eyes glued on their smartphones, at our place everyone had their nose in a book.

The best thing about reading is that it can take you anywhere; it's a place there the past, present, or future opens up to you without limits. I could be a dragon fighting mage one day, a scheming spaceship salvager the next, and still manage to be a spy on the run over a weekend, thanks to people who put their imaginings to paper for me to enjoy. Now, it's my turn to pick up the pen, and see who's imagination I can inspire.
